Windows Live Messenger Down

People across the world have been reporting that Windows Live Messenger, Hotmail and Windows Live sign-on is down across the world. Web Messenger also seems to be down, although Live Search still works.
I get the following message:
We were unable to sign you into Windows Live Messenger at this time. Please try again later.”
Don’t worry, it’s not you… its Microsoft! It does make me wonder whether we put too much trust in Microsoft and one centralised IM server – maybe something decentralised like Jabber is a much better way forward, especially with critical and important IM.
Oddly enough, I found out about the downtime when I saw the traffic from my blog doubling in one page and a few hundred pageviews on one of my old blog posts about MSN Messenger Downtime.
In the mean time, it’s a fantastic time to catch up on work and those tax returns

been down for a couple of days for me, i just restart it and sometimes it logs in
its really annoying though!
I cannot seem to access my Window”s Live account for 5 days already. It seems that I have replied an email scam and that the scammer hacked my account to send out spam to others. I”ve been trying to reset my password but they say my Window”s Live account is temporarily unavailable because I typed in too many incorrect information too many times. I also forgotten my alternate email address and password. I have asked for help from the Window”s Live Technicle but they have not replied me back yet. What others ways can I do.?

Okay I was wondering if it was just me I tried uninstalling-reinstalling nope! kind of thankful I kept windows messenger.
hi…my MSN is down…plz help me..its like already 1 wk since i sign in…its says that i can’t sign in!! And they provide me with this Error code..8e5e0152…what the hell is that for??! i nid to contact my frens there..i’ve tried everythink..from install/uninstall promgrams..but its still the same problem..plz3 help me!!
