Orange: Free PAYG SIM Card with 1000 texts, Facebook, Cinema

In the past I’ve always recommended O2 as the best pay as you go network in the UK. O2 Online tariffs offer you tons of free minutes and texts when you top up and I’ve found it even better value for money than being on a contract. I currently send about 200-250 texts a month and use my mobile to check my email occasionally for no more than a fiver a month.
However, I think the new package from Orange is even better value for money.
On the pay as you go Dolphin package, when you top up £10 you get the following for a month for free:
- 300 free texts
- 20 minutes daily Facebook access
- Orange Wednesdays (2 for 1 at the cinema)
Orange is currently offering a free SIM card worth £10 which also includes 1,000 free texts (worth £100, apparently).
It does cost 20p a minute to make a call on the Dolphin package so if you call a lot, it’s something to consider.
O2 Text Anytime is also worth considering – you get the 300 free texts or 500 minutes to O2 phones and landlines when you top up £10. You used to get 1MB data for free too but it looks like this isn’t available to new subscribers. If you’re already on O2, customer services can switch you to this tariff for free. Otherwise, if you’re a one of those people who use their mobile a fair bit but a contract wouldn’t be price effective, check out the Orange tariff!

ok i know this might be a reli reli stupid question but on orange pay as you go dolphin package can i top up £5 and still get 150 free txts ?? because if you top up £10 you get 300 free txts.

hi ihave been with virgin for a few months now and i noticed that u get a lot more free texts when you top up £10.when you top up £10 you get 700 free texts but that is only for the weekend.
How do i get onto the facebook from my home page because when i try i says data failed;

with orange payg if you top up £10 then do you get it the following month or that month because i got my phone about a month ago with £10 top up then when a month was nearly up it said to top up again by …date but i topped up after so when do i get it?
please help me im confused :S
by the way georgiee you have to ajust your mail settings for it to work and if it still doesnt work then call up orange or check the website
Hi Shahera I’m working for Orange payg helpdesk. Everymonth on a particular date that we call anaysis date u get ur rewards based on ur prev 30days total top up. If it is 10 Ukp U ger 300 sms if it is 20 u get 600 If it is 30 u get 3000 sms free to be used in one month. U can call 343 to know about it from ur payg phone or call 450 option 2 4 4 to speak to someone My ext no 66321
on orange if i receive the message telling me to top up on a certain date but don’t top up on that date instead i top up a couple of months later will i still get my free txts
Im considering getting this Dolphin plan, just need to check. Do I HAVE to top up £10 a month? I know that if I dont then I wont get free internet and 300 texts, but I just wanna no incase one month I cant top up.
If you don’t top up in one month, you simply won’t get your freebies. You can still call/text/receive calls you just need to pay for them all.
Is the internet access on orange dolphin payg ONLY for facebook, or any data?
I believe it is only for Facebook although Orange’s webpage doesn’t make it very clear at all.
