Monopoly Movie

Universal have purchased the rights to produce a movie based on the game Monopoly. Monopoly is iconic for sure; some people try to run the Monopoly board in London, visiting every place on the board. But how can you make a movie out of it?

I’ve done a Monopoly Run, although it was more of a Monopoly Walk. It’s a lot further than you think though, and your feet bloody kill after 16 miles or so of hard pavements!
I agree though, a Monopoly Movie sounds ridiculous. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with it, but I honestly can’t see it being any good at all.
Sounds like it will be some sort of Italian Job-esque crime based in a city film, it makes sense in my opnion.
I’m a big fan of the game and coded Monopoly in VB for a college project, but I can’t see how they plan to do a move of it!
I’m producing and directing a documentary about the game of Monopoly called “Under the Boardwalk.” It will feature interviews with some of the top players from around the world, as well as cover the history of the game and showcase how Monopoly has become such a huge worldwide phenomenon.
