Please can u explain 2me a few things. Firstly, y r the instructions on the English forum in French? Next, y after I registered with Deezer, created a play list, I couldn't play them, or next 2 no other songs, the following day? From what I have read on the forum, there r many complaints about this but, no answers from Deezer themselves!!! Y??? Also, the forum suggests that Deezer only operates in certain countries, if this is so, y does it not say which countries it does on the website??? Which countries does it work in because, from what I have read, next 2 none???

I await yr response.

Let's be honest. Most of the tracks I've attempted to buy - so I can listen to them on my iPod - after listening to them on Deezer; I can't! Remixes, vinyl oldies, rare tracks... I think it is the media industry that needs to get it's house in order!

I would agree that the SmartRadios need a bit of work on choosing more relevant music! I think Pandora did a great job on the personalised radio but perhaps it's because I used to listen to it a lot more than the Deezer SmartRadios so it had a better idea of what I like.

It would be great if you could export a list of all your music from iTunes and have all your playlists and library available to listen to on demand when you're away from your PC.

Good interview, interesting to hear about Deezer's future as a regular user. I would disagree about the smart radio working all that well though, there are some definite problems with it (if you start it from one artist, it won't play other tracks from that artist, if you tell it you don't like a track the same track still comes up, repitition of the same track with only one or two other tracks between it etc.) But Dic's right, Deezer on a phone, or on some kind of wi-fi mobile device, would be absolutely brilliant, even if they ended up charging for a small yearly subscription for whatever reason it'll stay one of my most visited sites :)

This was a really good interview. The people really seem passionate with it. Definitely one of the best online radio interfaces I have seen; much looking forward to things to come.

However; he has hit the hammer on the nail with saying that people want this OnDemand service; whether through radio's or illegal downloads. People want it quick and free. But what I have discovered; and what he hasn't really touched on, is that with this need customers seek, download services realize this and now offer really cheap downloads; artists offering decide-to-pay music and the crackdown of illegal downloads through such interfaces as Limewire and BitTorrent still in the early stages; online radio's are still suppressing the craving in a short term.

I love Deezer; I use it all the time; even for music I have. But with worldwide wireless internet and 3G still expensive and rather set for the future in the next 10years... The music industry is still heavily based on portable music, especially through MP3's.

When Deezer comes on the phone... Easily and simply. And especially still free; then the day will come.

But good on the Deezer team for this; and cracking interview, they seem innovated and determined. Well done :)
