Penguin Planet Racer

PPRacer Penguin Planet Racer is an upgrade of the original open source TuxRacer game. You control Tux, the linux mascot as he races down various tracks. You can collect fish, tackle tough corners, jump over obstacles or just carelessly attempt to get Tux as fast as possible.

When Tux is moving at a high speed, the up arrow will actually alow down Tux. You can hold down the energy key for a while and then release it to cause Tux to jump. You can play the game in cup mode or play individual courses in the practice mode. Weather and lighting can be adjusted in the practice mode.

If your itching for even more, you can download extra courses or make your own. This is a good upgrade over the original TuxRacer and apparently multiplayer is coming soon. Available for Linux, Windows and OS X.
