Places enabled on Firefox Builds Tommorow

According to the Mozilla Developer Centre, Places is going to be turned on Firefox Trunk and Branch tommorow. The new Places system delivers a long overdue overhaul to bookmarks and history. It is based on SQLite technology which is also found in the doomed PHP 5.

It’s worth giving tommorow’s builds a go.

    Doomed PHP5?

    PHP 5 is the version that IMO no hosts will ever upgrade to and will be skipped, especially seeing PHP 6 is around the corner.

    Places has been disabled again. Should be back early next week.
