Windows Live Messenger Beta Refresh

February 14th, 2006

The Windows Live Messenger blog posted some screenshots of the new look of Windows Live Messenger. You can’t actually get this build yet unless you are a Microsoft Connect tester.

The main thing is that the old status icons are back and the annoying hover effect is gone. And it just looks a ton nicer.

Perhaps the final version won’t be as bad as WLM currently is.

I currently have two invites for Windows Live Messenger; leave a comment if you want one.

Edit: Reader Sunny Boy also has some invites available so don’t feel too disappointed if you get comment #3 :)
