Firefox 1.5

November 29th, 2005

Without wanting the risk of sounding like Neowin, Firefox 1.5 is on the FTP servers. Various sources on Planet Mozilla say it’s currently being pushed to FTP. Get it before it’s slashdotted :)

Also, an unpatched Internet Explorer flaw seems worse than it was thought to be. Secunia has given the security hole an "extremely critical" rating.

The new Mozilla.com site looks great :)

I do not remember how the old one looked…

    Ps
the title is just some of the buttons on my keyboard pressed while holding in the Alt Gr button. This was done since you apparently have to write an title and I could think of any thing……

OK that was just plain stupid, so I apologise and have edited my title to something more relevant. Sorry

Mozilla.com used to look like Mozilla.org but used red instead of blue.

The old Firefox page used the Mozilla.org design and was less hip.

Firefox 1.5 has already had 2 million downloads. 1.5 million in the first day. I’m guessing that this doesn’t include people already using Firefox (normally SFX download statistics don’t include people already using Firefox).
