SMS for Geeks

July 12th, 2006

"Chavs" have annoyed everyone with their bad spelling habits for a long time which make their messages illegible to anyone else. Now geeks can get their revenge using server response codes in SMS messages.

[FRIEND] hows the sushi ovr there?
[YOU] 200

[FRIEND] is it a free show 2nite or is there a cover?
[YOU] 402

[FRIEND] is there any parking outside the place? did you find any?
[YOU] 404

If only HTTP was verbose enough to hold a decent conversation.

ThinkGeek has HTTPanties.
